When I set out to do crate training, I discovered that it was shockingly difficult to buy a dog crate in Israel (apparently it’s just a less common practice in other countries). They were extremely hard to find in the right size and the price was around four times what they cost in America.
Some people who saw Sharav’s crate thought that using it was cruel, but I considered it cruel to deprive a dog of this natural den opportunity. Either way, I used to feed Sharav in his crate, and he very quickly grew to love it.
