Working dogs like Malinois really benefit from getting a lot of exercise, and Sharav and I loved to walk long distances together. From when he was just a puppy, I was determined to give him the best possible life by training him well, including off-leash walking.
To be completely frank, walking a dog off leash in the city is a high risk, high reward proposition: when done successfully, it’s one of the best feelings in the world, but if you fuck it up, it can only lead to disaster.
