Since I started working from home in March 2020 due to the pandemic, Sharav and I did not have a comfortable living situation for most that year, and I often wished that I had decided to leave the city when my lease was expiring that February.
Moving to Brooklyn in early 2021 was a great relief, though, since our Brooklyn apartment was so much more pleasant and better suited to a dog’s life, and because the neighborhood was so much less crowded all the time.
