The pandemic changed a lot

21 August 2023 by Natan Gesher

The pandemic changed a lot about Sharav’s life and mine.

In spring 2020, we stayed in Manhattan while the city emptied out, and we were suddenly alone together all the time.

My big concern was that if I were to end up on a ventilator in intensive care, with virtually nobody that I knew remaining in New York City, who would be able to look after Sharav for me and walk him until I got better? Who would be willing to?

Though I signed a lease extension to stay in Manhattan just as things were starting to get real, I could not have been more delighted for both of us to move to Brooklyn a year later.

Thank you to everyone who helped me with Sharav over the years. I hope you know that he loved you, and he loved spending time with you.

Would you be willing to share some memories or photos of Sharav with me?
