It turned out that dogs, even with short hair, tend to shed and molt. Before adopting Sharav, I asked my parents how much I would need to brush him, and my mother’s answer was that as much as I brushed him, there would always be more hair and fur. She was right (but she did not warn me about the tufts).
Pro tip: don’t wear black clothing.
