Sharav almost got us evicted from our East 29th Street apartment – that actually allowed dogs!
The eviction problem, unlike the mice infestation, was not actually his fault at all, but was caused by a corrupt and incompetent real estate broker named Yeranui (or Yeranuhi) “Yera” Barakyan of Bond New York. I had provided details to her about Sharav, including a photo of him, for my apartment application before signing the lease, but she never delivered the material to the building’s management. So after I moved him in, the building’s lawyers threatened to sue and evict me, and I ended up having to pay an extra security deposit plus an extra monthly fee for him. Barakyan and Bond also never accepted responsibility.
